Lowergrove Bulls
Lowergrove Montgomery
For 2017 we are using the home bred bull Lowergrove Montgomery (Monty). He is by Free Town Jaguar and out of Badlingham Bonny 105th. Monty is pictured at 20 months old in his working clothes. Monty is a very correct animal with great thickness and length which we hope will be transmitted onto his progeny.

Free Town Jaguar

After seeing Free Town Jaguar at the 2013 Tenbury Show we were lucky enough to secure him as our new stock bull from R A Bradstock and Partners.
He has been used across our breeding females and the results are very pleasing.
Jaguar has a prestigious pedigree that seems to have knit well with our cows genetics .
He has length, muscling and a good dark colour, this has been transmitted onto his progeny.

Mara Humorus
For the 2013 breeding season we have been lucky enough to have been loaned a two year old bull from Bob and Margaret Borwick, after our stock bull became infertile.
Mara Humorous is well grown and has an excellent temperament and good colour, which we hope he will impart on his offspring.

Lowergrove Glanville
Glanville was out of our first calf by Archer, Lowergrove Diadem.
Diadem went on to be reserve female champion at Buckinghamshire County Show and Oxfordshire and Thame Show's in her first seasons outings.
Glanville was shown with a modicum of success and is a deep bodied well muscled son of FH Diamond ET; his first calf hit the ground running in September 2012 and shows a great deal of promise.

Mara Epic
In 2009 we purchased Mara Epic, who's dam Mara Blossom 26 was shown successfully .
Epic's Sire, FH Diamond ET produced thick beefy cattle with exceptional muscling , Epic was purchased with a view to enhance the qualities of the existing females with superior muscling whilst retaining the attributes of the female lines.

Mara Epic
Our first females were bought in calf to Clipston Bowman and Mara Archer which produced two fine heifers that went on to win show rosettes in their own right.
We were very lucky to then be able to use Margaret Bate's bull Mara Commander which produced a fine bull calf, Lowergrove Gibson who was subsequently sold for breeding to another pedigree herd and a heifer, Lowergrove Diadem 2nd that has been retained in the herd.
